Nordpuls Privacy Policy

In short

Nordpuls is a Norwegian 4x4 interval-training coach for iPhone and Apple Watch. Your data stays on your devices, and we collect nothing.

1. What we collect

Nothing. Nordpuls has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, store or sell any personal information.

2. Health data

With your permission, Nordpuls reads heart rate, VO2 max, resting heart rate and your date of birth from Apple Health, and saves your workouts, heart rate and active energy to Apple Health. This is used only to coach you during workouts and to show your progress inside the app. Health data is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is never used for advertising or data mining.

3. Workout history and settings

Your settings and workout history are stored only on your iPhone and Apple Watch, inside the app’s private storage, and passed between your own iPhone and Apple Watch. They are included in your device’s own backups if you have backups turned on; those are controlled by Apple and you.

4. Bluetooth

If you connect a Bluetooth heart-rate strap, Nordpuls only reads its heart-rate measurements. Nothing is uploaded.

5. Notifications

Phase alerts are local notifications scheduled on your device. No server is involved.

6. Purchases

The optional one-time Nordpuls Pro unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

7. Children

Nordpuls is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
